Although MediCepts, Inc. makes no representations and/or warranties concerning acceptance of any billing codes by any insurance companies, medical practitioners to date received reimbursement for SpineSix treatments under the CPT codes listed below as long as all medical necessity criteria and documentation requirements are met.
97110 - Therapeutic Exercise
97112 - Neuromuscular Re-Education
Medicare reimburses for outpatient rehabilitation services provided by:
• The following non-physician providers when providing services "incident to"
the physician's services directly using their individual provider numbers
• Physical therapists
• Physician assistant
• Clinical nurse specialist
• Nurse practitioners
• Physical therapists in independent practice (PTIPs)
• Physical therapy assistants (PTA) functioning under the general supervision of
a physical therapist
For Medicare reimbursement of therapy services in a physician practice:
• Physician must certify/recertify the plan of care, reflecting active participation in
and management of course of treatment
• Services must be performed under physician's direct supervision
(i.e., in the office suite 100% of the time)
Medicare will not reimburse services provided by:
